As
with any holiday, it is essential that you have a suitable travel
insurance policy to cover unforeseen events.
It
is doubly important with a winter sports holiday as injuries can, and
do, happen. By taking care when skiing, you can reduce the risk of
injury, but even so, accidents do sometimes happen to the very best.
It
is also important to make sure you have adequate third party insurance,
just in case you cause an accident, or injur another
person.
Please
read the details of any policy you are considering very carefully to
ensure that you will be covered should you have an accident or fall ill
while you're away.
We
recommend the policies provided by Fogg Travel Insurance Services,
which in our opinion, provide very reliable cover at a reasonable price.
Fogg
offer both a de-Luxe and Economy package, with different levels of
benefit. Click here for

The
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is not a substitute for
travel insurance. It will not, for example, cover the cost of
transporting you to a hospital in the event of an accident on the
slopes. This is where your travel insurance comes in.
