Food
is an important part of your stay with us and we understand
that you have high expectations in this area. That's why we employ
a qualified chef to prepare your meals – breakfast, afternoon
tea and dinner – to a high standard, six days per week.
If
you have special dietary requirements, we would be delighted to prepare
a special menu for you. Please give us plenty of notice so that we can
prepare for your arrival. Products including gluten and lactose-free
ingredients can be difficult to source in France. But if you let us
know your requirements in plenty of time, we'll find the necessary
ingredients to make your dishes a delight!
Breakfast
To prepare you for your
day on the slopes, you'll need a good
breakfast. This is served buffet-style in the dining room from 8 am.
With the exception of the staff day off, a hot option will be provided,
along with a selection of croissants, breads, cereals, yoghurts and
fruit.
Afternoon tea
A selection of tasty cakes
and bakes will be waiting for you when you
get back off the slopes. These are served with tea, coffee and fruit
juice to keep hunger at bay until your evening meal.
Children's meal
Served on request at 5:30
each evening, children are provided with a
yummy meal and scrummy pudding. Please let us know if your child has
particular favourites or dislikes and we will pass these on to our chef.
Dinner
The highlight of the day
for many, dinner is a four-course meal served
with good quality bottled wine. Starting at 7pm, this is when
stories are shared – sometimes exaggerated – and
all our guests relax in a pleasant dinner-party atmosphere. A sample of
our dinner menus can be found here.
Staff day off
All of our staff are given
one day off per week, usually Wednesday. On
this day, a continental style breakfast will be laid out for you and
you will need to eat out for dinner in the evening. Your
hosts will be happy to advise you on suitable local
restaurants and to make a table reservation on your behalf.
